Frequently Asked Questions
Flashings are thin pieces of impervious, waterproof material (often metal) that are installed on a rooftop at junctions and other areas vulnerable to leakage. They help create a watertight seal and optimise the diversion of water away from the roof. A critical roofing addition that protects the structural integrity of the building and mitigates water ingress, they are installed at roof edges and valleys, where roofs meet walls, as well as in gutters and around skylights, chimneys, and ventilation pipes.
- Lead products must not be used alongside products crafted from COLORBOND® or ZINCALUME® steel.
